why are we here?

Well, that is what I have been asking for years. But, I haven't yet found a sufficient answer. I never will until I stop asking, I think. What I mean by that is that trying to answer that question is like trying to write a complete autobiography. Writing a complete autobiography is impossible because one cannot write of their own death, at least they cannot write of their own death from the physical world they just left when they died. But, like a good autobiography, it takes a large amount of asking that question to even come close to finding the answer, and it takes a lot of writing to write an autobiography that is even close to complete.

So, I will continue to ask that question. And, in answering that question I will be in a sense writing my autobiography. In order to get anywhere one must have been through someplace else, so studying the routes taken to get to arrive at a certain destination will help clarify why one is where they are.

That raises another question. Which is more important, where one is or how they got there? Because, the response to the question, "where are you?" is a much simpler one than to the question, "how did you get here?" which would warrant a more lengthy response. How one arrived at a certain place is like an accumulation of things rather than just simply the one thing that is where they are at this very moment.

Well, I guess I don't really have any answers yet...
